Library Service Award


NHP LibraryNew Hyde Park Memorial High School senior Frederick Grimshaw received the Young Adult Services Divisions of the Suffolk and Nassau County Library Associations Bringing Excellence in Service by Teens Award.

The award was establishedto honor significant contributions by a teenager in library service. Each year, two winners are honored: one from Nassau and the other from Suffolk County. The winners are selected by a committee of members of the Young Adult Services Divisions of the Nassau and Suffolk Library Associations. Honorees receive a commemorative plaque and $150 stipend.
